Total output of agriculture, fisheries exceeds 13% in Oman

Muscat: The total output of the agricultural and fisheries sectors in the Sultanate has exceeded 13 per cent during the first six months of 2020.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said, "His Excellency Dr Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Bakri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources for Agriculture, indicated that the growth rate of the total output of the agricultural and fish sectors in the Sultanate during the first half of this year reached 13.2 per cent and is one of the highest rates compared to other non-oil sectors."
