AgriteQ 2022 to open on Thursday – The Peninsula

Doha: Under the patronage of Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, the Ministry of Municipality and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change will organize the 9th International Agricultural Exhibition (AgriteQ) and the 3rd International Environmental Exhibition (EnviroteQ), at Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre from March 10 to 14, with the participation of more than 650 local and international bodies from the sectors of agriculture, environment, food and animal production.

Mohammed Ali Al Khoury, Director of the Public Parks Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Exhibition, underlined the importance of the two exhibitions as a strategic and effective platform to explore new horizons to advance the Qatari agricultural sector which comes at the forefront of strategic priorities to achieve self-sufficiency, and offer innovative environmental solutions to meet current and emerging challenges and an opportunity to exchange international and local experiences.

Al Khoury added that the exhibitions will be the largest international trade event organized in the State of Qatar since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, noting that nearly 50 countries will participate in the exhibitions through their embassies and commercial offices in Doha.
