All set for AgriteQ and EnviroteQ 2022

The 9th Qatar International Agriculture Exhibition (AgriteQ 2022) and the 3rd Qatar International Environmental Exhibition (EnviroteQ) is set to open today at the Doha Exhibition and Conference Centre, bringing together more than 650 local and international entities from the agriculture, environment, food and animal production industries.

The five-day event, being organised under the patronage of HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al-Thani and the Ministry of Municipality and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, aims “to highlight innovation in agricultural techniques, and pinpoint the roadmap to achieve food security and sustainable development.”

Organisers said: “Qatar’s 9th AgriteQ has been at the forefront in providing a full-fledged platform for local and international agriculture stakeholders to exchange expertise, discover trends and developments, and seize business opportunities in this vital sector.

“The event furnishes an ideal opportunity for industry specialists to explore a wide range of agricultural technologies, equipment and related products, meet key decision-makers, gain valuable insights, and discover the best practices”.

Some 80 local farms, 50 local producers of honey and dates, and 10 major gardening companies will participate in this latest edition of AgriteQ and EnviroteQ.
