Food inspection by Doha Municipality

Doha Municipality's Health Control Section carried out 3,241 inspection tours on various food outlets and retailers, issued 99 violation reports and enforced seven closures of different food facilities.

A total of 73 food organisations modified their situation and resolved the related violations. In addition, 189 food samples were taken from different locations for examination at the central laboratories.

As much as 34,885kg of fresh fish were examined at the Corniche fish market to ensure their validity for human consumption. The municipality also formed a team for related complaints and emergencies.
