Two Qatari aircraft arrive in Egypt with 27 tonnes of Gaza aid – The Peninsula

Al Arish: Two Qatari Armed Forces aircraft arrived today in the Egyptian city of Al Arish.

The planes carried 27 tonnes of aid, including food supplies provided by the Qatar Fund For Development (QFFD), the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS), and the Organizing Committee of the Christian Churches, in preparation for transporting them to Gaza. 

This brings the total number of aircraft to 37 aircraft, with a total of 1,219 tons. 

The Organizing Committee of the Christian Churches had submitted a request to the State of Qatar to deliver aid in solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people inside the Gaza Strip, who suffer from a severe shortage of basic needs as a result of the ongoing war and the difficulty of entering aid. 

The aid was received at Al-Arish International Airport by Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater.

The aid comes within the framework of the State of Qatar’s support for the brotherly Palestinian people, and its full support for them during the difficult humanitarian circumstances they are currently exposed to.
