Saudi Gazette reportRIYADH — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) dispatched two relief ships from Jeddah Islamic Port to aid the Palestinian and Sudanese people on Monday.The eighth ship destined for Palestinians is loaded with food baskets, shelter materials, generators, and heavy equipment like bulldozers, water tankers, and forklifts, and will dock at El-Arish Port in Egypt.To date, eight ships and 50 planes have delivered over 6,500 tons of aid to the Gaza Strip. The 31st ship for Sudan is carrying food, shelter, and medical supplies to the port of Suakin.So far, this initiative has sent 31 ships and 13 planes, delivering over 14 tons of aid to Sudan.In a press statement, KSrelief Supervisor General Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah praised the Saudi leadership's generous support for humanitarian efforts globally. He highlighted Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to supporting the Palestinian and Sudanese people, among others, aiming to reduce suffering among the most vulnerable groups worldwide during crises.
