Geant UAE enters into partnership with world’s largest Dubai based vertical farm

Dubai: Geant, part of GMG, has announced a strategic partnership with Emirates Crop One, a joint venture between Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) and Crop One, an industry leader in technology-driven indoor vertical farming. The world’s largest hydroponic farm, Bustanica, will supply a new range of high quality leafy greens, including lettuce, arugula, mixed salad greens, and spinach to all Géant Hypermarkets and supermarkets across the UAE. Located near Al Maktoum International Airport at Dubai World Central, Bustanica’s 330,000 sq.ft. facility is geared to produce more than 1 million kilograms of high-quality leafy greens annually.
