Final examinations at Indian schools across the UAE will go ahead despite the nationwide adoption of distance learning to contain the coronavirus outbreak.. On Wednesday, the Indian embassy in Abu Dhabi confirmed that grade 10, 11 and 12 Board Examinations held in conjunction with India will continue through March despite the closure of schools.. Thousands of Indian pupils, who study the CBSE and ICSE curriculum, are in the midst of month-long examinations.. Exams began in February and were set to continue until the end of March.. The closure of schools and universities across the UAE cast doubt over whether or not the examinations would need to be postponed.. Wishing pupils the best of luck for their exams, the embassy said it made the announcement to allay the concerns of parents.. "With regard to the closure of all schools and colleges announced by the UAE authorities “¦ the question of the ongoing CBSE, Kerala State Board and other Indian curriculum examinations are utmost in the minds of all students and parents," the embassy said..
