Bahrain chairs executive committee of ARCO Organization

The Kingdom of Bahrain, represented by the Secretary-General of the Bahrain Red Crescent Society, Mr. Mubarak Al Hadi, chaired the Executive Committee of the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization ARCO. It includes five Arab associations, namely the Saudi, Palestinian, Moroccan, and Iraqi Red Crescent, as well as the Bahraini Red Crescent. The Executive Committee of the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization made its recommendations for the 46th session, which was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on March 30th and 31st under the theme “Unity for Humanity”, reflecting aspirations to unite relief and humanitarian efforts at the Arab and international levels to ensure that its objectives are achieved as effectively as possible within the framework of the principles of the International Red Crescent and Red Cross movement. Mr. Al Hadi confirmed the support of the Bahrain Red Crescent Society to promote joint Arab action in the field of relief and humanitarian work, increase the contributions of Red Crescent and Arab Red Cross associations and bodies in assisting the needy and afflicted around the world, and actively respond to international appeals related to relief to areas affected by natural disasters, wars, and conflicts. Mr. Al Hadi noted the
