Training programme for Expo 2020 Bahrain pavilion volunteers launched | THE DAILY TRIBUNE | KINGDOM OF BAHRAIN

Pavilion volunteers are expected to play a critical role in mapping out Bahrain's success story while conveying the Kingdom’s message to the world. To ensure the best performances and contributions, BACA launched a training programme in early September for the volunteers who had made it through the last selection thanks to their exceptional linguistic, administrative and creative skills. The training programme is held in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, Mohammed Bin Mubarak Academy for Diplomatic Studies and the Economic Development Board. More than 400 people had applied for the volunteer programme organised in cooperation with Tamkeen. During the training programme, which continues until September 14, the volunteers will attend several sessions aimed at enhancing their skills in the media, culture, diplomacy, and administration. Topics in the training include diplomatic culture, effective communication, team building skills, decision-making and problem solving techniques. The training also features topic-dense sessions regarding the history and culture of Bahrain, the details of the Kingdom’s pavilion and its general theme as well as the programme of events and activities planned for six months starting from October.
