Egypt’s exports to Poland reached $204.5M in 2021 – CAPMAS – Egypt Today

CAIRO - 30 May 2022: The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said on Monday that Egyptian exports to Poland increased 65.8 percent in 2021 to hit $204.5 million compared to $123.4 in 2020. In a statement, CAPMAS said the value of Egyptian imports from Poland amounted to $504 million in 2021, compared to $498.2 million in 2020, with an increase of 1.2 percent. The volume of trade exchange between the two countries reached $708.5 million in 2021, compared to $621.6 million with an increase of 14 percent. Egypt's exports to Poland included plastics and their products, with a value of $43.5 million, fruit ($28.3 million), iron and steel, ($15.1 million), stuffing for textiles ($11.3 million), and glass and its products ($10.9 million). Egypt's imports from Poland included fruit worth $147.8 million, machines, devices, and automatic tools ($71.7 million), appliances and electrical equipment ($39.9 million), pharmaceutical products ($23.7 million), and rubber and its products ($23.4 million). The value of remittances from Egyptians working in Poland amounted to $6.5 million during the fiscal year of 2019/2020, compared to $5.9 million during the fiscal year of 2018/2019, with an increase of 8.8 percent.
