Health min.: President Sisi attaches great importance to offering all means of support to African brothers

CAIRO - 19 October 2021: Health Minister Hala Zayed said on Monday that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attached great importance to offering all means of support to African brothers in various domains. During the opening of the AFRI Egypt Medical Center for Health Care in Jinja, Uganda, the minister said that cooperation between Egypt and African countries in the health field has been prospering since Egypt's presidency of the African Union in 2019. The opening ceremony was attended by Acting Chargé d'Affairs at the Egyptian Embassy in Kampala Mohannad Mazara', Mohamed Gad, Advisor to the Health Minister for External Health Relations and Head of the Egyptian Ambulance Authority, as well as representatives of the Arab Company for Drug Industries and Medical Appliances (ACDIMA) and Global NAPI Pharmaceuticals company, EVA Pharma company and the Egyptian Company for Investment Projects (ECIP). Spokesman for the Health Ministry Khaled Megahed said that Zayed inspected the center to stand on healthcare services offered to Ugandan citizens. The center is equipped with the latest diagnostic techniques and treatment methods to provide the best services to patients in Uganda, the spokesman said.
