GCC Secretary General Affirms that Al-Ula Summit has Launched New Start for Well-established Entity

Al-Ula, January 05, 2021, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, in his name and on behalf of all employees of the GCC General Secretariat, congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the leaders of the GCC countries on the success of the workings of the Sultan Qaboos and Sheikh Sabah Summit, which was concluded today in Al-Ula.

Dr. Al-Hajraf emphasized that the summit decisions launched a new start for a well-established entity of the GCC, stressing the unity of ranks, reunification, cooperation and integration among the GCC states to face challenges and build the future.

He stressed that the cohesion and strength of the GCC is a pillar that the people of the Gulf and the Arab nation rely on to defend their causes and preserve their interests, and that Al-Ula Declaration reflects the integration of the GCC states and the Arab Republic of Egypt in enhancing Arab national security and supporting its solidarity.
