EU officials underline Jordan’s pivotal role in region under King leadership – MENAFN.COM

(MENAFN - Jordan News Agency) Brussels, May. 5 (Petra) -- Two European officials lauded Jordan's pivotal role under the leadership of His Majesty the King in the Middle East. In two newspaper interviews, EU Spokesperson for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Nabila Massrali, and NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs, James Appathurai, said that the King's visit Brussels on Wednesday comes as an affirmation of the depth of cooperation and the deep-rooted ties between Jordan, the European Union (EU) and the NATO. Both officials commended the Kingdom's role in supporting stability in the region, especially supporting the two-state solution based on international agreements, praising Jordan's efforts to provide Coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccines to refugee communities. In the interview with Massrali, she said that King Abdullah's visits to Brussels reflect the level of cooperation and the distinguished relations between the EU and Jordan.
