Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) to Jordan states Jordan had "at least one and possibly multiple communications with President Trump on January 6th," which the committee would like to discuss "in detail." It also says Jordan may have had conversations with Trump and White House officials before January 6 about strategies to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. The committee proposed a meeting date of January 3 or 4 to discuss Jordan's communications. Jordan's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Forbes. Jordan is the second GOP congressman to receive a letter from the committee in the past three days, the other being Rep. Scott Perry, of Pennsylvania. Unlike
