Share to Linkedin A House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack sent sweeping document requests to eight federal agencies on Wednesday, signaling an exhaustive scope for the panel that will probe everything from the government's response to the attack to Trump's efforts to overturn the election and thwart a peaceful transfer of power. In a 12-page letter to NARA, the panel requests the documents and communications of dozens of Trump allies and former aides including former press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, chief of staff Mark Meadows, attorney Rudy Giuliani and most of Trump's children.
