King Abdullah departs Jordan for tripartite summit in Egypt – Roya News English

His Majesty King Abdullah left the Kingdom Thursday for Cairo, where he will participate in a tripartite summit with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, within the framework of continuous coordination and consultation between the three countries.

His Majesty's participation in the summit comes as part of the diplomatic effort he is leading to support the Palestinian brothers in achieving their legitimate rights and improving their living conditions, as well as creating the appropriate atmosphere for the resumption of negotiations between the Palestinians and Israelis, on the basis of the two-state solution.

HRH Prince Ali bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Deputy to His Majesty the King, in the presence of the ministry.
