Black Owned Bookstore Collective x GMA Book Club will host a virtual Juneteenth celebration featuring a conversation between Zakiya Dalila Harris, author of New York Times NYT bestselling The Other Black Girl (Atria Books), set in the world of book publishing, and Rashida Jones at 1 p. m. ET. Participating bookstores include Cafe con Libros, Malik Books, Shelves Bookstore, Bookstore At The Bottom, Cafe Noir, Turning Page Bookshop, Black Pearl Books, Kindred Stories, SOA Co. Books, Niche Book Bar, Da Book Joint, Brain Lair Books and Beyond Barcodes Bookstore. The Detroit Public Library Author Series will present a virtual event at 1 p. m.
