Kuwait received lowest bid of $101.2m for Maintenance Services

Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) announces the bid results for the project, Maintenance Services of Production Facilities for South Kuwait Areas.

Thirteen Bidders has submitted the proposals. Kuwait based Oil and Gas firm, HOT Engineering & Construction Co. has submitted the lowest bid.

HOT Engineering & Construction Co. submitted the price of KWD 30.8 million (USD 101.2 million).

The Services shall include provision of qualified, experienced and skilled personnel, Vehicles, tools, Equipment and facilities, for mechanical, electrical and instrumentation maintenance of the Company’s production and operational facilities.

The equipment includes all the rotating and static machinery and plant and its associated equipment, storage, transmission and supply installations for oil, gas condensate and water, electrical equipment, power distribution system, instrumentation and control systems within the Company’s operating areas in South Kuwait Area.

The duration of the contract is five years with an option of 12 months extension.
