Kuwait’s Amir receives Crown Prince after GCC Summit in Riyadh

Crown Prince thanks Saudi monarch for warm hospitality

KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received yesterday His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah following the latter’s return from Saudi Arabia, where he headed the Kuwaiti delegation to the 42nd GCC Summit in Riyadh. His Highness the Crown Prince briefed His Highness the Amir on the results of the summit that reflected the historical deep-rooted ties between the GCC countries and people, and keenness on boosting joint cooperation and unity between them to meet their mutual aspirations and enhance security and stability of the region.

Meanwhile, His Highness the Crown Prince sent a letter of gratitude to Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud for the warm reception he and his accompanying delegation had experienced during his participation in the GCC Summit on Tuesday. He hailed the important decisions taken by the GCC leaders to cement joint action and achieve the aspirations of Gulf peoples. He also wished King Salman everlasting wellbeing and wished Saudi Arabia and its people more progress and prosperity. His Highness Sheikh Mishal sent a similar letter to Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Prince Mohammad bin Salman
