Oman Investment Authority calls for board membership applications

Muscat: The Oman Investment Authority (OIA) has asked qualified individuals to apply for board memberships in entities affiliated with OIA.

Oman Investment Authority (OIA) has launched the Thiqat platform to enable those with talent and high competency, experience and capabilities to apply for board memberships in entities affiliated with OIA. The platform is designed to support OIA's commitment to corporate governance values and active community engagement.

OIA said in a statement: "Thiqat will provide an integrated database by promoting public engagement and attracting qualified individuals to participate in decision-making in these companies, especially those with distinguished expertise and competencies."
