Pakistan’s Social Champ raises $225,000 for its social media management platform

Pakistani SaaS startup Social Champ has raised $225,000 from an angel investor, it announced in a statement last week without disclosing the name of the investor. Social Champ had previously raised $100,000 from Oman Technology Fund's Wadi Accelerator last year as part of joining the program.

Founded in late 2016 by Sameer Ahmed Khan, Zohaib Shakir, and Shakir Ghani, Karachi-based Social Champ is a social media management tool that allows individuals and businesses to manage their different social media pages (and profiles) on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, & Pinterest, through its web and mobile-based platform.

The tool enables users to schedule and automate their social media posts, upload them in bulk, and engage with the fans/users on different platforms. It also comes with analytics and reports to help users keep an eye on their progress.

Social Champ's co-founder and CEO Sameer Ahmed Khan in a statement claimed that they have over 6,000 users right now and their tool has been used to publish over 40 million posts to date.

According to their website, Social Champ doesn't have a free tier. The users can try the tool for free for up to a week but then have to upgrade to one of its paid subscription
