MoCI Undersecretary meets companies’ executives on sidelines of Hannover Messe – The Peninsula

Hanover: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry H E Sultan bin Rashid Al Khater met separately with President of the Federation of German Industries (BDI) Dr. Siegfried Russwurm, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the German company Deutsche Messe Jochen Kockler, on the sidelines of Hannover Messe International Industrial Fair 2022.

During the meeting, a broad range of topics related to the bilateral relations between the state of Qatar and the Federal Republic of Germany were discussed, including ways of further developing areas of cooperation pertaining to the construction of joint industrial projects between the private sectors in both countries, as well as utilizing the German experience in the field of developing the areas of small and medium industries, in addition to discussing the matters of organizing and exchanging of visits between German and Qatari industrial sector and organizing joint exhibitions and events, including exchange of experiences.

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry also highlighted the successful economic policies the state of Qatar has established to boost private sector. He outlined the incentives, legislation, and promising opportunities available that are aimed at encouraging investors, businessmen and company owners to invest in the country.
