Partial closure of Doha Metro services for Watan security exercise – The Peninsula

Doha: Qatar Rail has announced that the green line Doha Metro services between Education City and Al Riffa will not be available tomorrow at 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This temporary closure is due to a planned "Watan" joint security exercise.

In a social media post, Qatar Rail said: "On November 16 from 15:00 to 21:00, Green Line Metro services between Education City and Al Riffa will be affected by a planned 'Watan' joint security exercise in collaboration with the Safety & Security Operations Committee at Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy."
