Qatar, Oman to boost ties, investments, work on clean energy – The Peninsula

Doha: Qatar and Oman have emphasised diverse opportunities in the two countries, providing a solid basis for strengthening relations, increasing investments, building partnerships, and delivering valuable projects in various sectors and fields.

The joint statement issued yesterday said that proceeding from the strong brotherly relations, the well-established historical ties between the State of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the Sultan of Oman, paid a two-day historic visit to Qatar on November 22 and 23, 2021 in response to the kind invitation by Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. H H the Amir and H M the Sultan held extensive bilateral discussions reviewing the relations between the two brotherly countries, enhancing and developing them in all fields, including exchanging views on several regional and international issues.
