Qatar with WEF launch AMHUB to boost country’s manufacturing sector

The Qatar Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) in cooperation with the Qatar Development Bank (QDB) has launched Qatar’s Advanced Manufacturing Hub (AMHUB) in partnership with the World Economic Forum (WEF), and in the presence of representatives from the three parties.

Through this strategic cooperation, the MoCI and QDB aim to transform Qatar into an advanced economic and industrial hub by enhancing its international connections network. The launch of AMHUB in Qatar further cements the country’s position as a regional leader in the field.

Furthermore, the platform will provide a collaborative space for Qatar’s heads of industrial institutions, major national companies, and owners of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the industrial sector, as well as to share visions, ideas, and experiences about Qatar’s industrial and technological capabilities.

One of the Qatar AMHUB’s tasks is to enhance Qatar’s manufacturing system by increasing its efficiency and accelerating its growth. Thus, the Qatar AMHUB would transform into a niche, comprising a collaborative space and a community where the manufacturing industry leaders come together to discuss challenges within the domain, especially aspects of the Fourth Industrial Revolution trends.
