Shura committees hold meetings

The Shura Council's Services and Public Utilities Committee held Monday a meeting headed by its Chairman HE Ali bin Saeed al-Khayarin.

During the meeting, the committee continued its study of a draft law on the temporary expropriation and appropriation of real estate for the public benefit and decided to complete its discussions of the draft law at its next meeting. Additionally, the Council's Economic and Financial Affairs Committee held a meeting under the chairmanship of its chairman HE Mohamed bin Yousef al-Mana. During the meeting, the committee continued to discuss the issue of Qatari job seekers and the mechanism of determining the specialisations the country needs in accordance with the requirements of the labour market, which contributes to promoting the development of the human resources of the country.

The committee decided to complete its discussions of the subject at its next meeting.

The Internal and External Committee of the Shura Council also held a meeting yesterday under the presidency of HE Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri, the chairperson of the committee. During the meeting, the committee discussed a draft law on regulating the ownership of real estate in the country by diplomatic and consular missions. The committee decided to submit
