Aramco partners with Emerson to develop Saudi’s manufacturing skills

Saudi Arabia’s multinational petroleum and natural gas company, Saudi Aramco, has signed an agreement with Emerson Electric, a US-based global technology and engineering company, to advance localization initiatives in the kingdom.

The signing ceremony was attended by Ms. Vidya Ramnath, Emerson’s Middle East and Africa (MEA) President, and Saudi Aramco Chief Engineer Dr. Khalid Al Qahtani at the In-Kingdom Total Value Add Program (iktva) 2022 Forum & Exhibition. 

The agreement identifies Emerson as a leading manufacturer and service provider of process automation systems and instrumentation, as well as the operator of a central digital hub facility in the kingdom.
