‎Non-institutional weekly foreign investments excluding Aramco up to 10.15%

Non-institutional foreign investors – namely swap holders, residents and qualified foreign investors (QFIs), excluding Saudi Aramco – increased their ownership in the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) to 10.15%, or SAR 321.7 billion, in the week ended June 2, compared to 10.07% in the week before, market data showed.

Last week, MSCI, the provider of research-based indexes and analytics, implemented the changes according to its semi-annual review of its indices.

GCC investors' ownership in the Saudi market rose to 1.77%, or SAR 56.1 billion, in the week ended June 2, compared to the week before.

Foreign investors’ ownership, including strategic partners, and excluding Saudi Aramco, inched up from 12.03% to 12.11%, or SAR 383.5 billion, for the week.

Meanwhile, institutional foreign investors, excluding Saudi Aramco, accounted for 1.95%, or SAR 61.8 billion, of the total foreign ownership in the Saudi market for the week ended June 2.
