Jeddah, Dec 12, 2020, SPA -- The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will organize virtually the sixth meeting of the Advisory Committee for Women on December 14 and 15, 2020, in coordination with the Ministry of Women, National Solidarity, Family and Humanitarian Action in Burkina Faso, the chair of the seventh session of the Ministerial Conference on Women.

The meeting will discuss several important topics including: the implementation of the OIC's Action Plan for Women's Advancement (OPAO) and the ongoing preparations for the OIC's participation in the sixty-fifth session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) on March 2021 in New York.
