Saudi AlGooru acquires edtech ChillLearn

Saudi Arabia-based edtech AlGooru has announced the acquisition of Jeddah-based ChillLearn for an unknown amount.

Founded in 2019 by Khalid Abou Kassem, AlGooru connects students with on-demand private tutors, where they can book online or in-person sessions through its platform.

The new acquisition will allow AlGooru to expand its operations across the region, where ChillLearn’s team members, the network of tutors, and the founder will join the AlGooru team.

AlGooru, founded by Khalid Abou Kassem in 2019, has announced the acquisition of ChillLearn, the Jeddah-based tutoring platform founded by Muhanad AlJaser in 2020.

AlGooru has had its fair share of success stories, with the most recent being its acceptance into the seed accelerator, Techstars Riyadh, and closing the pre-Seed investment round with $600,000. As it has always been, AlGooru continues to spearhead the field of edtech to provide the absolute best for its users in Saudi Arabia and the GCC. To date, AlGooru recruits more than 450 vetted private tutors,
