Saudi Arabia’s Future Investment Initiative postponed until January

DUBAI: The Future Investment Initiative (FII), Saudi Arabia's flagship financial forum, has been postponed until early next year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the organizers said.The event, which has become a fixture in the global investment calendar in the short time since its launch in 2017, was scheduled for late next month but has been put back until the end of January.The organizers, the FII Institute, said: "After careful consideration and assessment of the global travel and airline outlook, as well as the regulations imposed by a significant number of countries, and in the context of the efforts deployed to overcome the impact of COVID-19, we have decided to postpone the fourth edition of the FII, initially scheduled to take place from Oct. 28-29, 2020 in Riyadh, to Jan. 26-28
