1200 companies to take part in Wetex, Dubai Solar Show

DubSaeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) and Founder and Chairman of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (Wetex) and Dubai Solar Show, has announced that 1,200 companies from 55 countries will take part in the 23rd Wetex and Dubai Solar Show.

Dewa organises the exhibition under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, from October 5-7 at Dubai Exhibition Centre as part of Expo 2020 Dubai.

Al Tayer made the announcement during a press conference at the Armani Hotel in Dubai. Members of the organising committee, a number of strategic partners, sponsors, exhibitors, and the media were present.

“This edition of the exhibition is an exceptional opportunity for sponsors, exhibitors, and visitors to be part of the first Expo in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia and one of the first major events since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic,” Al Tayer said.
