ABB’s all-in-one EV charger to make ME debut at Expo 2020 Pavilion

ABB, a Swedish-Swiss multinational corporation, will showcase its all-in-one Electric Vehicle (EV) charger at Expo 2020 Dubai as part of its goal to power e-mobility.

Making its debut to the Middle East (ME) on the Sweden Pavilion at Expo 2020’s Sustainability District, visitors will get a firsthand look at Terra 360 which provides the fastest charging experience on the market. ABB’s new technology comes with a modular charger with a maximum output of 360 kW that can charge up to four vehicles in 15 minutes.

The unveiling of ABB’s new electric car charger coincides with a global surge in the number of electric and hybrid vehicles on the road. According to estimates, there will be 42,000 electric cars on the roads in the UAE by 2030 as the country pushes its clean energy goals.

Initiatives like the Dubai Green Mobility Strategy 2030 and the Abu Dhabi Transportation Mobility Management Strategy show a clear commitment to promoting the use of sustainable transportation and electric vehicles in the UAE.
