Abu Dhabi company signs strategic agreement to develop solar projects in Iraq

ABU DHABI “” Masdar, also known as the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, announced that it has signed a strategic agreement with Iraq to develop Solar Photovoltaic (PV) projects in the country with a minimum total capacity of two gigawatts (GW). Heads of the agreement were signed at a virtual ceremony by Iraqi Minister of Electricity Majid A. Hantosh, President of the National Investment Commission of Iraq Suha Al-Najar, and Chief Executive Officer of Masdar Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi.
