DHL partners with TotalEnergies to develop solar energy project in Dubai

DHL Global Forwarding, the air, ocean, and road freight services provider, has inked a contract with TotalEnergies to develop a solar energy project in Dubai. Under the contract, TotalEnergies will solarise eight of DHL’s sites in Dubai to cover over 46,000 square metres of photovoltaic panels, generating 14,000 MWh of electricity per year, according to a press release on Wednesday. Meanwhile, eight electrical vehicle charging stations will also be installed.
