Sheikh Hamdan: Dh400m Dubai cycling strategy will encourage healthy lifestyles

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed has signed off on a Dh400 million bicycle-friendly strategy to make cycling safer in Dubai, at a meeting of the Executive Council.

The Crown Prince of Dubai and chairman of the Executive Council approved over a dozen initiatives aimed at making the emirate a safer place for its cycling citizens and residents.

"We.. approved the Dubai Bicycle-Friendly City Strategy 2025, which includes 18 initiatives valued at AED 400 million," he wrote on Twitter.
