UAE Business: Australian Pavilion at Expo 2020 celebrates 1m visitors – Gulf Digital News

The Australian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai has recorded one million visitors, largely due to the non-stop daily entertainment and cultural events, Aussie treats at the three onsite restaurants and the fun pavilion mascots Wattle and Jali.

Commissioner General of the Australian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, Justin McGowan was on hand to congratulate the lucky family with an armful of gifts and a guided tour of the pavilion.

Sanita Johnson was on a high from celebrating their 8-year anniversary of calling the UAE home and decided to make the first family trip to Expo to commemorate the day. Having never visited Expo before, they picked the Australia Pavilion as their first stop having heard countless positive reviews.

“We’ve delayed coming to Expo until now, so this is just a wonderful way to start our journey” said Sanita.

The Australian Pavilion has been drawing large crowds and positive reviews since the start of Expo. Located in the Mobility District, the pavilion offers an immersive and exciting visitor experience. Inside the pavilion, visitors are guided through three immersive exhibition spaces designed to relay the story of Australia’s vibrant and longlived culture.
