UAE Business: Edenred goes green with new sustainable C3Pay salary cards – Gulf Digital News

Edenred UAE, a leading payroll platform, has introduced the country’s first eco-friendly salary cards made of recycled polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic.

 

The new sustainable salary cards issued by Edenred UAE are made of 85.5% recyclable PVC and are printed with recyclable ink. 

 

The recycled PVC originates from printing and packaging industrial waste from Europe and can save up to 3.18g industrial waste per card. Moreover, the cards can be recycled up to eight times for reuse. These eco-friendly cards will be available from December 2021 to all Edenred UAE customers and can be used instore and online worldwide.

 

Edenred UAE is committed to reducing its carbon footprint, consumption of resources and waste, and managing the impact of its solutions during their lifetime.

Adopting an eco-design approach to these solutions, whether physical or digital, is one of the key priorities of Edenred’s environmental policy.
