UAE Business: KidsBuddy launches in GCC; to change the learning system – Gulf Digital News

KidsBuddy, an Indian EdTech start-up, has launched its operations in the GCC, which promises to change the learning system for more than 250 million K12 students currently enrolled into Indian school curricula across the world.

The launch of KidsBuddy in the region comes as the Education Technology (EdTech) market in the Middle East and Africa is expected to reach $7 billion by 2027, due to the adoption of technology solutions and products in classrooms by schools across the region. The worldwide EdTech market size was valued at $254.80 billion in 2021 and is expected to reach $605.40 billion by 2027, according to Research and Markets, a market intelligence provider.

The number of enrolled students in government schools in India was 131 million while the privately managed schools had 119 million enrolled students before the Covid-19 pandemic. The Indian schooling system is one of the largest in the world and caters to over 250 million students, according to reports.
