UAE Business: Two sustainability drives to launch at Food For Future – Gulf Digital News

The upcoming Food For Future Summit and co-located Global Agtech Innovation Expo, at the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) at Expo 2020 Dubai, will serve as the launchpad for two major sustainability campaigns, designed to foster a global movement.



Hosted by the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (UN FAO) as strategic partners, the summit and expo, which runs from February 23-24, will unite world leaders, industry innovators, influential minds, start-up, and food revolutionaries, galvanising all sectors of the agriculture and food supply chains for profound discussions and innovative outcomes for a sustainable food ecosystem.



Food for Life



Food for Life’, a first-of-its-kind public awareness and engagement campaign will be launched by partners Emirates Nature-WWF, the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention and the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO). The campaign seeks to promote a healthy and mindful relationship with food and build awareness of how interconnected a healthy diet is with the sustainability of our food systems through an exciting calendar of events and outreach programmes.
