UK to explore the future of foodnbsp;at Expo 2020 Dubai

How will technological advances change the way we grow and consume food in a world increasingly focused on sustainability? This is the central question being discussed by leading figures and companies in the agri-tech and food sector during ‘In the Future, What will we Eat?’ hosted by the UK Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai from 14-20th February, under the UK’s participation theme ‘Innovating for a Shared Future’.

From food security and agri-tech to eliminating waste and feeding the world, the event promises to proactively seek solutions for a more sustainable future. The programme will include a series of online Summit sessions, coinciding with Gulfood, taking place between 13-17th February, where key speakers will discuss issues around how we grow, consume and provide food for a sustainable future. A two-day food festival, open to the general public will then showcase the very best of the UK food and drink industry from 19-20th February.
