Dubai carrier flydubai launches new upgrade option for Business Class

Dubai-based flydubai has announced a new service that offers passengers the opportunity to bid for an upgrade to Business Class before their next flight.

When the bidding period begins, passengers travelling Economy Class on eligible flights will be notified by the carrier via email.

Once accepted, the passenger will be charged for the bid amount that was submitted for the upgrade, and will receive an updated booking confirmation. In the event of an upgrade not being possible, the passenger will not be charged and will continue as per the original itinerary.
