Dubai Economy fines 18 entities, warns 12 others for non-compliance with Covid-19 protocols

The field inspection teams from the Commercial Compliance & Consumer Protection Sector within the Dubai Economy conducted 755 site visits across the emirate on Sunday to check for compliance with the precautionary measures to contain the spread of Covid-19.

By way of these inspections, Dubai Economy fined 18 commercial establishments, six of them from the retail sector, two of which were readymade garments traders, four were involved in the textiles and fabrics business, and one each from the perfumes, mobile phones, electronics, and computers trade, reported news agency WAM.

Besides these entities, Dubai Economy in coordination with the Dubai Sports Council also fined two gyms in Dubai.
