Dubai Free Zones Council to roll out unified business portal for investors – The National

Dubai Free Zones Council, the body tasked with the development of free zones in the emirate, plans to roll out a single portal for all of the special investment zones in Dubai as part of plans to speed up the emirate's economic recovery.



The combined business portal will help investors to assess all of the investment zones in the emirate and make informed decisions about choosing the most fitting free zone when considering where to set up, the council said in a statement on Saturday.

The DFZC is also considered setting up a unified record for free zone licences, where companies operating within free zones will be allocated a unique code.



"This step would streamline availability of information on free zone-registered companies, as well as facilitate the movement of companies among Dubai's free zones," the statement said.
