Mubadala Buys Stake in Silver Lake, to Invest $2 Billion

Mubadala Investment Co. took a minority equity interest in Silver Lake and plans to contribute $2 billion to an investment strategy led by the technology investment firm.The new strategy has a 25-year deployment lifecycle and is “designed to invest flexibly across investment structures, geographies and industries, as well as fluidly throughout capital structures and across the spectrum of early to later stage opportunities,” according to a statement.
