Bahrain Indian School wins AMH Medathlon Trophy | THE DAILY TRIBUNE | KINGDOM OF BAHRAIN

The AMH Medathlon 2023 “Health is Wealth” Trophy was awarded to the Bahrain Indian School (Bhavan’s) for its overall performance across all competitions held in December 2023 by the American Mission Hospital.
Over 400 participants from 17 schools participated in 51 events over three days, according to Dr Rama Krishna and Dr Babu Ramachandran, who were the organizers of AMH Medathlon. This is the fourth annual inter-school competitive event, for the schools of Bahrain, held with the aim of promoting health awareness and scientific knowledge, they said.
The event had five key competitions which included Short Films, Speeches, Medzap skits, and Quizzes for students and also a Debate Contest for teachers. In the Grand Finale held on Friday, 1st December, in the King Hamad American Mission Hospital Auditorium in A’Ali, the top two places in the teachers’ Debate contest, were won by Bahrain India School (BIS) and Al Sharqiya School, while the third place was shared by the Al Noor International School and the New Millennium School (NMS).
The film “Dr Robo vs Virus,” submitted by the Bahrain Indian School, won the first place in the short films contest and second place was won by the New Millennium School (NMS).
