RCSI Bahrain welcomes a new Head of Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology

The President of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI Bahrain), Professor Sameer Otoom, welcomed Professor Uwe Torsten, joining from Berlin, for his new role of Head of Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the School of Medicine. Professor Otoom commented, “We are delighted to welcome Professor Torsten to RCSI Bahrain. He is a great addition to the School of Medicine and the University as a whole, as he brings with him a wide-range of professional and academic expertise in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, which will be of great value to our students.
