SCE and UCB sign cooperation agreement

The Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with University College of Bahrain. The agreement aimed at strengthening cooperation in training and education by organizing joint programs, exchanging expertise, and providing services, consultations, scientific courses and activities. Deputy CEO of SCE Shaikh Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Khalifa praised the university’s role in advancing the education process and providing the labor market and government sectors with academic competencies, and stressed the council’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with various educational institutions in the Kingdom. Acting President of University College of Bahrain Dr. Rana Sawaya expressed her pride in the remarkable efforts made by the SCE in various environmental and climatic projects, and expressed the university’s keenness to strengthen cooperation to advance the educational sector and develop practical training to refine students’ skills and qualifying them to meet aspirations and labor market requirements.
