stc Bahrain partners with RCSI Bahrain to support “Trees for Life” campaign

stc Bahrain has partnered with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI Bahrain) to support its “Trees for Life” campaign. The partnership aims to increase the number of green spaces in Bahrain in support of preserving the environment and maintaining sustainable communities in the Kingdom.

As part of the partnership, RCSI Bahrain has pledged to plant 500 trees that will be distributed across the campus and to students and faculty. The collaboration is a part of stc Bahrain’s efforts to reduce desertification, high temperatures and combat air pollution as part of the “Trees for Life” campaign.

Commenting on the partnership, stc Bahrain Chief Government Affairs Officer Shaikh Zeyad Bin Faisal Al Khalifa, said: “We are delighted to partner with RCSI Bahrain to support our efforts in increasing green spaces across the Kingdom in line with the nation’s afforestation plans to double the number of trees by 2035. Our partnership with RCSI signifies our commitment to reducing air pollution in the kingdom, preserving the environment, and maintaining sustainable green spaces for generations to come.”
